Jeffry E. Stein as Jacob Barret:
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Sierra Foothills, Jeff began his career in radio, hosting a morning show in Sacramento at 102.5 KSFM and then at Hot 97.7 in San Francisco. If he wasn't on the air, he was on stage as a stand-up comic or theatre actor. When he decided to make the move to Los Angeles, Burbank as it turned out, he immediately hit the stand-up circuit performing in clubs like, The Comedy Store, The Icehouse, and The Improv. But that was short-lived as he was hired to tour with country superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill for Country Music Television (CMT). Although he made two new friends and had a ton of time on camera, the tour eventually ended and he returned to Los Angeles where he started booking gigs like crazy. Between national commercials and independent films, he was pretty busy. Stein wrote, produced and starred alongside Erin Gray and Gary Kroeger in the pilot sitcom "We'll Be Right Back…" but, like many projects, doors were opened, but the pen didn't hit the ink and the show didn't make it on the air. Lately, he's been learning about reality TV by working for Stone/Stanley Productions (The Man Show, Loveline) as a run-through host for their up coming game shows. On top of all this, he still maintains his roots to radio by running a company called The Hazardous Comedy Network that provides topical audio and written comedy to over 70 radio stations nationwide, including Rick Dees in the Morning (KIIS-FM, Los Angeles), Mancow (Q101, Chicago) and Scott and Todd (WPLJ, New York City). Jeff is one of the writers of The War Game, the creator of the game The War Game, the Director and also a Co-Producer. He is married and just celebrated his four-year anniversary with his wife Kerie, who he proposed to during his act on stage at The Improv in Hollywood. When not working, he enjoys tennis, watching his San Francisco 49ers, designing and playing World War II strategy games, and vacationing in the California Redwoods.
