After graduating from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina, with a B.S. in Accounting, Ashley moved from his childhood home in Annapolis, Maryland, to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career as a screenwriter. In 1998 he sold "DISH DOGS" to 7.23 Productions-- earning his first few dollars as a screenwriter. It stars Sean Astin, Mattew Lillard, Brian Dennehy, Shannon Elizabeth, Maitland Ward, and Richard Moll and can be found in video stores across the country. He currently has several screenplays optioned at different production companies and is hopeful that one of them will survive the development process and begin shooting soon. In the meantime he's currently editing "REUNION," an art-house type feature that he wrote and co-produced.
